  • Americans can't cook. This is a standard breakfast at a restaurant.

  • Coffee black. Cereal with yogurt or heavy cream.

  • Bacon is a processed food. A tasty one.

  • Three eggs. But yes. Sig P365.

  • Not sure if your hyperventilating was caused by Heathcliff without Heathcliff. I recommend taking two HAM and checking in the morning.

  • Definitely. At the last corporate job I had I was told at the very beginning of the interview that I was overqualified and that the only reason I was there was because their trainer (a former coworker of mine) said they had to interview me.

I got the job. I was thinking about quitting when they fired me because I didn't park my car on the property because I was following the rules.

I was thinking about quitting because the place was a total mess. The first clue was during the interview they warned me they didn't have KPIs at this call center job. When I actually started working I noticed that I had no one person to report to, massive inefficiencies, I could have spent a day or two creating from scratch their much needed IVR and that after three months on the phone not one person I started with had had a review of any kind. I had 20 years of call center experience and 20 years of Linux administration and I was fighting back every urge to rearrange the furniture because this major company was a complete shit show. I was over qualified. I should have never taken the job. They should have never hired me.

  • I haven't seen the data on all but the nonstick is trash in a way that shows zero potential for their other stuff. Crap materials, uneven heating, etc. The very worst in almost every category.

  • I made the 33 mile trek to Agri Supply today for new pants now that I can't take the 5 mile trek to Tractor Supply. I can get most of my farm supplies from other places* but chicks and medications will be harder to source.

    • I mostly do that already. But I have a local feed and seed half a mile away. But clothing was something that TS was better for.
  • It's amazing. I highly recommend it. 5-11 Tactical occasionally offers a very light weight utility kilt at a really decent price. Utilikilts makes a much heavier one that I like too. Both are high quality materials that last forever.

  • Where a skirt, like real man. No one will care about your knees.

Call it a kilt if it makes you feel better. As a person with seven kilts I have no problem correcting people to tell them that's a skirt if it makes things awkward.

  • I keep meaning to talk to Peter Gallagher about why he does that but I haven't had a chance. I have a feeling. He just thinks that it needs a cat. Though I do think the helmets add something.

  • I'm constantly surprised at how many people upvote my Heathcliff without Heathcliff edits. It's the most derivative project I've ever done and that anyone pays attention is kinda amazing.

  • There is no way the incumbents weren't going to win. All it does is show the incumbents that they aren't as secure as they think.

  • On Ben Shapiro's show today he referenced this this as a "so called debunked video". Because, you know, he has no integrity.

  • This was definitely worth the watch. But I feel like the self promotion and app advertisement at the end detracted from the whole thing.

  • I was thinking boot from a different media and access the file system. But the moment I saw Steve Gibson had a different way I felt like my option was stupid. That is the power of Steve Gibson.

  • Swamp creatures lives matter. Make swamp creatures great again.

  • I'm in Lesser Carolina. On Tuesday we had an election. Two state level offices. Each one had an incumbent Republican running against a different Republican. The results were basically known before the election happened. So I went in and voted for the non-incumbent just to have something to do. I was the only voter at my place the whole time I was there.
