Let's get something out of the way. I'm not a liberal. So please stop arguing with the person you want me to be and try having a conversation with me.
If you assume that this poll is representative of the whole election then you are letting your bosses get in the way of reality. Right now it's a statistical tie but with Harris ahead by 2 points. And on the electorial side Harris leads by 7 and is probably taking Michigan. But neither party is near 270 yet. So you might want to be less absolutist in your predictions.
The pole here states that this poll is an improvement for Harris from the last one they did. So if the trend continues your prediction is wrong.
Any time I see "far left" or "far right" I have to ask qualifying questions to figure out if they are the kind of person that always adds far to it no matter what the situation is.
If the left and the right politicians both agree on something then it tautologically can't be far anything. Maybe the Overton window moved but it's still the centrist position.
Dems have been doing pretty good for themselves lately. They've dominated every election since Dobbs.
Can you describe the difference between far-right and moderate-right foreign policy in this context? Given that she has made almost zero statements on foreign policy I'm guessing this is about Palestine and Israel?
Or maybe because it's a useless poll. It's so niche a group that it won't play any significant role in the election. This doesn't look like a post saying Harris is in trouble. It looks like a post saying Stein has a chance. Which they don't. So it's getting down voted because it contributes nothing of value.
We have a pretty decent one located in Mt wife's room which is basically sealed off from the rest of the house. It runs into the shower. But despite its size it is inadequate for the whole house. I don't have the money to buy a dedicated one for the whole house.
But this little window AC is doing a really excellent job. Set it to 80 and it keeps going and drying the air.
My air conditioner broke 3 years ago.
This year we got a small window unit. It's not enough to cool the whole house. But it does provide the very important feature of dehumidifying the house. The temperature in the house and outside can both be in the high 90s. But it is so much less oppressive inside the house where the humidity has been stripped out.
Geese are legendary for their attack skills. They aren't bad most of the year but in the spring they will mess you up if you get too close. You can go to YouTube and search for "goose attack."
Yes and no. They are much cleaner than ducks and they can be exclusively fed on grass once they are feathered out. This makes them unbelievably awesome in addition to their guard dog ability. In the springtime you get giant goose eggs. Which is a big perk. Since we got our first two geese we have not lost a single chicken or duck to hawks. Which is why we got them. We were losing 1 to 3 a year just to hawks.
The downside is that like all birds they poop everywhere And their poops are more undigested grass than runny stuff. And in the spring when you get those giant eggs the geese can become extremely aggressive. This means separating them from the other birds to prevent injuries and it means learning how to wrestle geese in a safe manner. And it means always being on guard. You will not be safe on your own property.
But for me the benefits far exceed risks. They pay for themselves. They give giant eggs, they stop hawks, they mow the yard, they require no feed.
Today I turn on one foster kitten, the rest leave next week. Not sure if they will give me more when I drop off the one today. But if they have something extra spicy I'll probably get it.
Basically multiple types and the number is fluid.
We've lost two chickens and two geese this year.
Just guessing but the VP is the head of the Senate and casts any tie breaking votes there. Not sure if that happened here but it's how the VP can get involved with "signing" stuff in the Senate.
I have power tools. I had like 7 batteries for them. I saw that they offered a USB adapter so I could charge my cell phones. $20. I quickly stopped using wall warts and standard battery packs. 5 amp hours, hot swappable, always a battery in the charger so I could never run out of power. Power tool batteries are built to higher specs than typical cell phone chargers so they didn't die after 10 chargers. The batteries are rugged so a drop doesn't destroy them.
My tools were stolen. I replaced all my Makita with Harbor Freight Hercules brand, their premium brand. Half the cost of Makita and actually better designed in a lot of areas. I quickly bought the USB adapter because I could never live without it again.
If you have power tools and always use them, I'm a handyman, then a USB adapter is a must.
What an unfortunate thing to happen on free dozen eggs night.
