  • Subscriptions are good, but YouTube recommendations introduce new channels that you didn’t know about before, so recommendations are still needed for me.

  • It is better than on Linux but definetly not very good.

  • Thanks for the recommendation, didn't know this channel!

  • Of course they do. There are no videos about privacy in my recommendations. I look at privacy through LibreTube purely based on the list of subscriptions.

  • Unfortunately, I can’t escape YouTube/it's recommendations. But! I watch content about privacy through LibreTube, which proxies everything through Piped, which means that Google doesn’t know what I’m watching. So it's not a big problem.

  • I remember that on new generations of Intel chips there is no support for S3 at the chipset level, which means that the operating system physically cannot enter the laptop into this mode. On Windows S0ix is better optimized, that's all. Linux has problems with this.

  • NBTV is awesome. Really like the way thoughts are presented. And strong stand on privacy.

  • Perhaps there is a problem with the server hoster? Or configuration problems? What I really miss are site icons next to the URL. The search speed drops due to their absence. I hope they add it in the future.

  • Thank you, @Helium314 ❤️

  • I didn’t like the rate limits on public instances and I am self hosting my own for me and my family. But maybe everything will be fine for you :)

  • I was very pleased with how well swipe input works with this library. After finding this fork, I stopped using GBoard, which I am very happy about :)

  • Whoogle. Try one of the public instances. They can be rate limited but not so often.

  • 300 searches per month? phthhthtpttpphppt, pre one day, maybe would be ok :)
