  • It's a good start for a Revanced alternative.

We have Newpipe and Libretube for complete local video management but it's nice to have an additional one to Revanced. Whether it picks up and becomes big that remains to be seen.

  • I actually use Brave and have been for few years. Used Firefox back when it was version 2 and switched to Brave as it's performance was better compared to Firefox.

Reading the above now, you have shed a lot of light on things I didn't know about Brave. I know I can disable a lot of stuff on it (news, rewards, VPN, chat). But the list of bloat has been increasing.

Your post is an eye opener. I will be looking for a way to switch to Firefox. Unfortunately I work for an organisation that doesn't give us the option of installing our browser. Forced to use MS Edge for now lol.

  • The iPhone 13 is a great phone, and the performance difference between the 13 and 14 isn't huge. I would go with the 1 TB iPhone 13.

I tend to fill up my phone easily but it's not an issue for me since I have an android with a micro SD card (256 GB for now). However, if I had an iPhone and plan to use for years to come, I would get the extra storage.

  • I would stick with the 80 20 charge.

Also, avoid any fast charging options on the phone as it heats up the battery.

Other than that, just enjoy using the phone. Lithium batteries usually come rated for 1000 charge cycles so they should be able to hold at least 80 percent of their capacity if charged daily after three years.

  • Moving is possible but difficult.

I tried doing that few years ago but you literally start from step 1. I went against a lot of recruits, that were single, and fresh to the job scene. They are more than ready to slave away the hours to impress their managers.

I on the other hand wasn't single, not ready to over work, and the salary offered for starters was not impressive after all these years.

Suffice to say, I feel much better now knowing how much I make for the hours I put in.

  • A lot of people are against credit cards which is understandable. But I use them almost exclusively and pay them in full every month.

As long as I don't go over whatever I have in cash, these credit cards help me in building credit score as well as provide a layer of protection should some person or site try to over charge me later.

It's not for everyone, but it worked for me.
