I'm over 60 and not at all represented by these old motherfuckers. It's partly their age and partly their wealth -- they can't represent people who actually work for a living.

There are various theories of how age and term limits could limit this.

Here's my fantasy, which is just that.

Set up an AI unit that's been programmed to a 90 IQ level. If these assholes can't beat it in chess three times out of five -- or checkers for that matter -- enjoy the rest of your life on the porch.

Just a fantasy.

Well, I'm trying to think.

This is pretty vague stuff, but I stopped doing the one activity I was really active in, mountain biking, and then my health went to hell for a while.

Coincidence? Hard to tell.

I feel very bad for the citizens.They do not want or deserve any of this.

I'm 62, which is embarrassingly old to be effing around on the fediverse.

But I just want to say these octogenarians can't possibly represent me.

But to me wealth is the more corrupting factor. Some of these people have never had a real job, or at least in decades.

I'm both hoping to work until I'm 70 or die sooner.

These rich assholes can't represent anyone except other rich assholes.

Nothing is going to happen to any of these assholes.

I'm in the U.S., and have a bit of a permutation on this.

I live in a sparsely populated county. But we have two hospitals and hundreds of doctors.

However, my insurer pulled out of the county in May. So it's a 70 mile drive to another county for urgent care.

I fell on Sunday and thought about making that drive. Instead, I decided to treat the injuries myself.

So we have plenty of open facilities. But it could easily cost $5,000 or so for routine treatment.

I'm old enough that my grandfathers fought in WWI. My mother's second husband was a B-17 captain. Third husband was a fighter pilot in the Pacific theater. My father retired from the regular army as a LTC. Col.

These bastards would have fought each other to get to the head of the line to beat the shit out of Turderville.

But as others have noted, we have this obstructionist process in place.

As one of the other commentators said, maybe we should change the fucking rule. I just don't know how.

I've never voted Republikklan in my life, but there were some who had honor. Senator McCain, for example. But now we're stuck with this shit with legs.
