  • I'm in the U.S and have walked out a couple times.

In the longer term, I have a leukemia condition. It took five months to get an MRI and get someone to read the results. By that time the conditions had cleared up.

But there are a lot of conditions that can kill you in five months.

  • The comments about volunteering seem really helpful. Go down to your local animal control center and you will meet some decent people.

Also, Halloween tends to create possibilities. Even if you are just handing out flyers for a local project of some sort.

I gather you are not going to bars, which is a really good idea

  • I've seen doctors do so much stupid stuff. My former oncologist prescribed two drugs I was obviously allergic to, including one that nearly put me on dialysis for the rest of my life.

Another dumbass refused to accept that I had a bone fragment in the back of my hand. Forty years later I have a hand that has permanent bone damage.

    Thanks, guys.

  • My immune system is compromised by a low level form of leukemia.

I was scared when I took the first Pfizer -- no side effects.

The second one was painful as hell. The others were no problem.

Then I got Covid last week for the second time anyway.

  • I had a PE teacher punish a guy by making me kick him in the ass.

So this teacher literally tells the guy to bend over and tells me to kick him in the ass three times.

So I kicked him once and just realized how wrong it was. I was about 12 at the time. I just walked away. But how can people like this be involved in the school system?
