Longshot: at that point I'd make a video basically doxxing my past self and adding as much useful information (who I am, where I lived, my lawyers name etc...) then upload that video to whatever video hosting service I think can survive long enough for reincarnated me to find it (hopefully they remember what keywords to look for or maybe the channel). For fun past me towards their eol would also start putting as much money into gold, bury that gold somewhere and leave a letter with a trusted third party, where they will then ask questions to whomever approaches for the letter to verify that I am the rightful reincarnated person. That letter, as you may have thought, would have instructions, a map and anything else needed to get past me's treasure. That should jumpstart reincarnated me's dream, whatever that will be
Cant really do anything if youre talking about a clean slate meaning no memories will be retained and since you wont know who you'll reincarnate into also then youre kinda out of luck.
Alright so did a quick search and couldnt find a way to bypass the lockscreen so that should be alright assuming they dont take it when its unlocked but do more research. Go ahead and set a short timeout, and get a privacy screen protector so shoulder surfing can be ruled out. Yeah that is risky but life is life you have the decision on that. The dummy phone is also a good idea if you leave behind the personal one imo
I mean on average theyll just turn it off and then try to factory reset it later which will remove your data if there isnt an exploit. What i do since I have the same problem, is just not keep any data on my phone the same goes for accounts but I see that might not be for everyone. Assuming your phone is fully updated a long passphrase, think stock android limits to 17 characters, should be enough to keep out the average drug addict. Be mindful of your surroundings, dont fight back unless they try kidnapping you and use lockdown mode or fully restart your device when you go to a shady area. Curious what device do you have?
Edit: what you should be more worried about are the assholes that force you to unlock it and then empty out your bank through the countless digital payment methods. Arming yourself would be the answer for that
Think changing chromium for something like mull, on a seperate device/sandboxed user profile where you never input other information and setup a killswitch for the vpn would probably be better
Oh ok I'm a bit confused though if the cached thumbnails from the owner profile are available to another user profile does that not mean its being shared? Btw i restarted my device to clear the cache and the thumbnails are no longer being used on the other user profile so thank you.
