  • Brave has still worked fine throughout all this. I've been using it for a while and I wouldn't have even known about the message if it wasn't for news articles and Lemmy posts.

  • Explanation: the percent is modulus. Basically it's just divide the first number by the second and return the remainder. If you do number % 2, it will return 1 if it is odd and 0 if it is even. For example 4/2 has a remainder of 0 and therefore is even. 3/2 has a remainder of 1, and therefore is odd.

  • I'm not even sure what you're saying by build one where people are... Because that would mean building a train station like every second? But I'm assuming you mean build it in popular places or build more. All of these mean more stops and higher time to arrival.

  • But you can't make that schedule. If you're running late in a car, there's nothing wrong. Be late for a train and it's like being late for a plane. Imagine that every morning trying to get to work.

  • Possibly, but Apple's shitty version of the cable basically made it break more on the actual cable than the connector. It seems that this may be fixed with usb c because of the thicker cable though.

  • I actually doubt that phones are the major reason for a post like this. There are many reasons that you could fill in that only happen to some schools but phones happen to be the only one that applies to nearly every school. For example, at my school, our lunches have been cut down to shit 15 minutes at most, and if you buy lunch, it's much less. We usually have them call 5 minutes left. Sometimes they will say the kitchen is closed, sometimes they can't because people are still ordering.

  • This is why it's mainly larger developers that care about their community that implement Linux support. Take valve for example. Wonderful company that cares about their playerbase more than the average game development team. They have Linux support on almost all of their games as far as I am aware. Bungie is a decent company but most of their community doesn't want to play on Linux anyway, so they won't bother with it. However most teams that are smaller or care more about money than players won't do it.
