Didn't Digital Foundry do a video on this a bit ago? They pretty much said it would only be about as good as the PS4.

Like someone else said "Open AI has been a farce ever since they disabled access to GPT3 for the sake of security".

Facts.

If they released their models Open Source, we wouldn't have to just believe anything.

The way I understand it, Microsoft gave OpenAI $10 billion, but they didn't get any votes. They had no say in their matters.

You're not going to develop AI for the benefit of humanity at Microsoft. If they go there, we'll know "Open"AI's mission was all a lie.

He would join Microsoft. So much for making AI to benefit humanity.

People are social, if enough people feel the same way about one thing it'll succeed. It doesn't matter where it came from or how it was made, like how people can still admire and appreciate nature. Or maybe the impact will be that it reduces all impacts. Every group and subgroup might be able to have their own thing.

Altman might have gotten caught trying to raise money from Middle East sovereign funds for an AI chip startup, to grab more of the pie for himself. I personally couldn't stand the guy. I hope this change makes OpenAI more open.

Current open models are closing in on GPT-4. The real magic is in models fine-tuned in a specific field, not generalist models.

Your drawings are very nice. If you have the hardware for it, you might want to look into getting Stable Diffusion working with controlnets. It'll give you a lot more control over your outputs.
