Wow, replacing striking staff is super illegal in France and I'm sure using AI instead of workers would still be a slam dunk in front of a court. I'm shocked that this isn't outright banned there.

I gotta say, I have decided not to buy FH5 and pirate it so that I could use cheat menus worry-free and it feels so good not to have to worry about these limited-time FOMO-inducing specials. You just tick a box and poof! you can buy it.

Wow, I went in on the remake blind (having never played the original before) and shrugged off the whole Whisper thing as another element of the world that makes little sense to me yet. That's actually a very interesting idea and I wish I had played the original first to get to appreciate it.

You seem to have liked the remake (and the game in general). I have finished the first one last year but for some reason, it didn't click with me and the whole commentary you made wooshed over me (unless your whole text is satire). Are there some pointers you could give me to understand FF7 a bit better?

I don't buy it either. My PC + an upgrade 3 years later (with a Ryzen 5800X and a used RTX 3090!) cost me about €2,000. If you want to push it, you add the TV (€1,000) because it serves as a monitor and the whole home cinema setup because the computer is hooked to it (probably about €1,000 as well).

That's 4k and I'm stretching it. Buy a good monitor for €300, monitoring speakers or headphones for €250 and you're already set for a high end experience.

As for games... C'mon, y'all know we sail the high seas.
