  • It Takes Two.

There's a point where your characters brutally murder the only nice thing thing in the entire story while it's begging for its life (your characters are pieces of shit, but the gameplay is good, so you can kind of ignore it). It happens to be the characters' daughter's favorite stuffed elephant.

Then your characters dance gleefully in their daughter's tears and show no remorse at their daughter crying or any emotion other than woe is us, our brutal murder didn't work.

Seriously, one of the most horrific things my husband and I have ever played through in a game. It made us feel sick. We stopped playing after that. The best thing I can do for that little girl is for her shitty ass parents to never waje up so she becomes an orphan. That's honestly a better outcome for her than having to live with her shitty abusive parents another day. I only wish it had been earlier in the game so we could have gotten refunds.

I can't believe they market that game to play with your kids and put that scene in it.

  • My keyboard is a Microsoft Comfort curve. It cost $20 and has lasted for 15 years through multiple computers. Completely got rid of my wrist issues from standard keyboards.

Glad you found a keyboard that works for you though.

  • Really depends on what you need. I've been using a $500-600 24/7 rated office chair daily for over a decade and it's still as fantastic as the day I sat in it on the floor.

The $700 one I have at my other desk is good, but not quite as good as the cheaper one, but I didn't sit in it at the show room before getting it either.

  • I'm not sure how much MFA would have mattered in this case.

23andme login is an email address. Most MFAs seem to use email as an option these days. If they're already reusing passwords, the bad actor already has a password to use for their emails that's likely going to work for the accounts that were affected. Would it have brought it down? Sure, but doesn't seem like it would've been the silver bullet that everyone thinks it is.

  • Nah, this makes sense to me.

In order to get full credit (for the badge or card or whatever they had), you had to vote for every category.

I've never played a VR game, but I still had to vote in that category, so I just... picked something.

RDR2 is something a lot of folks have played. Hogwarts is something a lot of folks have played.

  • I figured that came through in the "I've been following kpop for the better part of a decade" comment that you originally replied to, but since it wasn't clear enough, yes, I'm a fan of kpop and know many fans of kpop who aren't 4chan people at all, and many who don't care about idol lives or the papparazzi pictures. (Yes, obviously there are 4chan folks who like kpop, like you can find 4chan folks who like any genre of music).

Kpop, like the majority of pop, is typically marketed to young women because women spend money on products or tend to have more decision making power over where money is spent (obviously varies by person or household). 4chan is usually not a haven for young women, or any women for that matter.

Like the majority of music genres, the fans are diverse and are interested in it for a variety of different reasons. If the only people that you're finding who listen to kpop are 4chan folks, I think that says more about the folks that you associate with or the places that you frequent than it does about kpop fans.
