when we wanted cabs, we'd not know how much a ride would cost until after we got to our destinations

Any cab I've ever been in had the mileage cost clearly posted in the taxi along with all of the other regulations. And they didn't change their rates depending on 'busy times of day'band inflate charges 2-5x as much.

This sounds pretty much like the experience people tell me in any Uber or Lyft, except for the cell phone but you can use your cell phone in a taxi just fine, so I'm not sure why this is even relevant.

Not podcasts, but Spotify does curate white noise playlists just like they do other music playlists.

I listen to either Night Rain, Dreamy Vibes, or Floating Through Space some nights.

Well, spins the first week can lead to having a BB100 or BB200 track/album.

Telling people to go vegan generally includes not eating honey since it's an animal by-product, just like eggs, animal milk, or cheeses.

Now, if you want to tell them to eat a vegetarian diet, then yeah, honey, eggs, animal milk, cheese, etc, would all still be on the table.

It does get harder when you have to cut out an entire food group because of food allergies though.
