  • Memes are supposed to reflect reality, not actually be reality.

  • "Honestly, it would have been better if Geordi LaForge wasn't going around asking if people wanted to be turned into Gold Shirts."

  • "Sir this is a Wendy's Taco Bell"

  • Not to mention that the food stylists create something that isn't even edible. They frequently use things that aren't food to make it look more palatable onscreen.

  • And both have rich and powerful TERFs on their side!

  • You clearly haven't dunked your nuggets in the Big Mac sauce.😋 /s

  • No, not like the poor-areas-of-inner-cities "hood." She's talking about the people in the big white pointy hoods.

  • Marsh Melons

  • If Boimler said it, Spock would probably go and ask one of his friends to have him try one of those "marsh melons" and would probably be corrected. It just seems like a very in-character thing for Ortegas to do!

  • Now we need a scene in SNW where Ortegas decides to play a joke on Spock by calling them marsh melons and giving everyone else (in picturing Chapel, Uhura, M'Benga, and Sam Kirk) a "shut up and make him believe it" look.

  • I'm in my early 40s, and I'm more of a leftist today than I was when I was 18.

  • "What's with people liking the thing I don't like?"

Seriously, people. Can we not gatekeep Star Trek? Does Enterprise have its problems? Absolutely, but so does literally every other Trek show. Every series has its own ups and downs, and while Enterprise might have issues, it has redeeming qualities, too. No one is going to make you like Enterprise, but don't be critical of other people because they like it.

  • What are your thoughts about Julian Bashir?

  • "We already beat them and stole half their country back in the 1840s. High time we did that again!"

"You do realize that would mean we would have more Mexicans living in the US?"

    "..."

  • Man, the Bradys haven't aged well.

  • Here's the thing though... it isn't factually incorrect, and taken together with how Ethan Peck has played the character, this line could just be viewed as Spock's attempt at a joke.

  • Lol the more I learn about humanity, the worse it gets
