  • Coincidence? I think not.

  • Apple to move the location of the charging port to the middle / top of the mouse after complaints about it being on the bottom.

  • Remember when Trump was making fun of Biden for being too old and weak for the job?

    Pepperidge Farm remembers.

  • They were a joke anyway. We would always get a shipping box from Amazon, ten times the size of whatever we ordered with maybe one of these ‘plastic pillows’ thrown in for protection - just bouncing around. It was such a joke.

They would never put enough in to protect the item or pick a carton to be a closer size.

In the end it just was more plastic waste.

  • Truly a shitpost.

  • Didn’t I just see a news article on here yesterday where they set a record for number of people executed? And it was this year??

  • Scalise said Republicans were determined to confront anti-Israel protests free thought among the masses, which he called “disgusting” and “unacceptable in America our growing fascist state”. “We’re bringing legislation to the floor to continue to confront it, to stand up against it, to show we support Israel gargle Israel’s balls for money,” he said.

There you go Scalise, I think this sounds a little more like what you meant to say.

  • They stopped with the ‘it’s God punishing sinful States’ when it became apparent that all the states that kept getting hit with natural disasters were mostly Republican controlled ones. 😂

  • Big business pays off everyone from the top down to ignore that the issue is killing everyone, from the top down.

  • We’ve poisoned our planet for the last 100+ years and now we are dying off slowly from the fruits of our labor.

    The irony.

  • They just need someone with a unique yet zany mustache to step forward as leader now.

  • Am in NC but have family right over the state line in TN. Can tell you they got it as bad if not worse in places. Where the Nolichuckey winds through some of the mountain counties there are areas where all the bridges/roads in those counties are completely washed out. The water isn’t receding fast enough either.

We’ve been in continual contact with friends who are completely stranded. No way in to the area and no drinkable water.

The news is not covering it and what they are is making it sound like there are only a handful of deaths when in reality there are probably dozens of people (or more) missing.

Am afraid this is going to just all get brushed aside for some other ‘News blip’ come next week.

  • So it’s Lt. Commander….

  • Betcha we will see insurance companies come out of the woodwork to lobby against this like crazy.

  • Being a kid of the 80s and living on the tail end of the Cold War this is just so weird.

The Republicans then, under Reagan, really viewed the Russians with disdain. We were constantly told - both by them, school, and the media, how Russia and Communism was the greatest evil on this planet.

Now all I see every time I turn on the news is some shadow of a Republican, gargling the balls of a Russian leader or representative.

It’s WEIRD I tell you, it’s like that movie The Manchurian Candidate is playing out only they’ve replaced the whole party.

  • There is actually an app that will let you remotely view and start/stop the printer without the use of the VPN.

My wife often works from home and is tech savvy so I have no problems running prints and checking in remotely and I often hear of others doing the same; however…

I would not recommend doing it without someone handy. Just my two cents. It’s not that someone could hack in - it’s that you are dealing with temps in the hundreds of degrees Celsius. While I don't recall of these things catching fire, the thought that it could burn my house down has more than once crossed my mind.

  • OP after I got my printer and got it printing (using a thumb drive for files for a bit) I setup a Raspberry PI running Octoprint on my network. Basically the printer hooks to the Pi and it serves as a print server of sorts. You can then send files to the Pi, configure it to watch your prints remotely (with a camera) and do some pretty cool things with it.

There are tons of videos on YouTube of course. Just something to think about.

  • Felt this way with Skyrim when it was released, then BOTW, then Horizon: Forbidden West, then Elden Ring….

Like a dog in a park that sees a squirrel 😂

  • Just imagine cocaine bread though. 🤔
