  • THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT!

It's entirely deliberately written to instill that thought.

And it's not "badly written" as it is 100000000% effective in what it is meant to do.

  • He'd probably need to file a suit against the state or the YouTuber.

If he's only cleared on 2/3 charges in the end, they'll just slap a minimum of 6 months on him and call it time served.

He probably doesn't have a leg to stand on suing the YouTuber if only cleared on 2/3 charges.

If he is cleared of all charges, he can sue the pants of both.

    But lawsuits are expensive.

  • Crocpot and easy peasy, in different subs on different servers as the two top posts on my feed.

  • They've been doing that for a long time.

PragerU has been infecting education since its inception and is now having its propaganda adopted by right wingers as official course material in genuine schools.

Trump University was disbanded in 2010.

Brigham Young has been around well over a century, started by an outspoken racist shitbag and still having extreme right wing and racist policies and views today.

They know full well that controlling and infecting education is the only way to breed sufficient amounts of people dumb and prejudiced enough to vote for their side.

It's why cutting public education has been a number 1 target for the right wing since forever.

  • For all the people saying this is simply a badly written title.

    Do you actually believe that?

Why is it that all these "badly written" titles, also happen to be designed to instill an outrage reaction?

It's not a coincidence or accident. All these "badly written" titles these days are done so deliberately. Just like YouTube is full of O-face thumbnails and bullshit titles, so is "the news".

It works in pulling in eyes.

  • Wait, I thought all they had to do was rake the forests???

  • It's especially rich coming from the side that's so horribly overtly corrupt and well known for cronyism and nepotism.

  • That title belongs in brandnewsentence.

Anyone ever predicted the day would come a US representative would have to REPEATEDLY be told not to show revenge porn in impeachment hearings??

  • I was lucky to receive 10 Windows 7 and Visual Studio Ultimate keys for personal use, in the Windows 7 era.

Once the "you can use Windows 7 keys to activate Windows 8/10" thing, combined with Microsoft accounts came around, I created 10 Microsoft accounts with 10 of my email addresses.

I've been able to activate Windows versions 7-11 with all 10 keys (and I can change to older Windows without issue) and been able to upgrade Visual Studio Ultimate to the current version year after year this way.

I wonder if the already upgraded keys attached to Microsoft accounts, that become a bit version fluid, will remain able to use higher versions.

  • Best thing is, the accounts that do this get taken down at spectacular speeds.

  • It's so you don't get a bag full of crumbs.

  • There's a practical reason chips bags are mostly air tho.

  • Actually the Saudis are forcing him to tank it

If that's directed at me, please actually read what I said.

They aren't forcing him to do anything. He's a useful idiot.

Anyone could and did see he'd either steer it politically to be more in their favor, or the idiot he is, would destroy it through sheer incompetence.

They aren't making him do anything, they just saw the cards on the table and thanked Allah.

  • Most of these companies hire people constantly, then at one point, cut the people they don't find fit or are productive enough.

It's a continual cycle and the "normal" in the industry.

Don't get me wrong, I hate it's the "normal", but it is.

  • I've never had anything related to WH40K.

I've never played a game in the WH40K universe.

I have watched a 30 hour video series on The God Emperor.

Other 8-20 hour videos explaining the basic lore on each faction.

And two video series that are probably 50+ hours, about the history of the WH40K universe overall.

And apparently, I have still only scratched the surface.

Do I have any intention of playing WH40K games or buying anything related to it?

    Nope, none what so ever.

Am I likely to watch any more content related to WH40K?

Yes, in fact, I have about 500 hours worth of videos in a playlist to watch later.

  • It doesn't have to be, it simply is.

That's the annoying thing with reality, it doesn't always do what you'd like it to do.

  • Something like Twitter isn't just the tech behind it.

Why do people keep stating this wishful thinking bit as how reality works??

People flock to one social media platform of a specific type over time, period.

And as we're dealing with a large mass of people, this will never be fediverse systems, it will always end up being a corporate system.

And those governments either want to control or if that is not possible, destroy.

    People are strongest together.

    Divide and conquer et al.

  • He, like Trump, is the useful idiot.

Remember, he didn't exactly buy Twitter cash in hand.

The money he used came from all over, only about half of it from selling stock he owned, the rest is banks and foreign interests (a very large one being the Saudi).

His goal was probably genuinely to turn it into a success with his own political views ruling the platform, but to do that, they should've stuck with his usual shtick of him being the PR face of the company while actually competent people do the work and make the decisions. Whatever political shite he spouts on the platform then doesn't matter.

But the other interests wanted Twitter either in the hands of someone they can influence, preferably someone with questionable morals and a similar totalitarian political view, or have it destroyed. For them, either way is perfectly fine.

They got what they wanted and the useful idiot is left to look like a fool.

  • In doing so, he destroyed Twitter.

Which is exactly what was meant to happen, to either turn it into a tool of the right and foreign parties, or destroy it.

Remember, the first thing crackpot dictators did in the past decade, whenever there was an uprising, was to block Twitter from being accessed.

  • I was able to buy 2 Pi4's while trying to source 20.

They cost 2 and 5 times the expected price.

I ended up converting the project to use VIA industrial x86 boards instead. Reliable supply and reliable price.
