  • The fact that it's a laser printer certainly redeems you! I'm dumb and bought a decent Canon printer several years ago (do they still make them?), and have used it a few times since then. I haven't checked recently, but am 100% certain all the cartridges are dried up. If I ever wanted to use it again, I'd have to blow out all the dust from it, clean the nozzles, buy more of all the colors (even if I'm printing b&w), and align the printing again. So much better to just go to a print shop the few rare times I'll need it. I don't want to make assumptions, but I bet that's the case for most people...

  • If he and other corporate leaders valued the savings more than the control, they would consolidate offices and corporate campuses, sell the unneeded ones, and use their more efficient, leaner company to crush their competition. Let's see what they actually do, though...

  • Rubber bullets are "less than lethal" ammunition. They can still seriously injure, permanently maim, and even kill. Cops have been known to target eyes and other vulnerable points to increase damage. If that sadism doesn't horrify and disgust you, you're not paying attention. So yeah, this should be prosecuted as a blatant, potentially deadly attack on a reporter...

I did see that stations turned off the pumps after-hours, when they didn't have anyone to pump fuel...

  • 1 vote. Out of 435... Of course it had a meaningful impact. And if you don't think a significant amount of wealthy MAGAts buy Teslas because of the convenience of not having to go to gas stations and because they support Musk/Trump, you're kidding yourself. Maybe they're not as supportive of the renewable, clean energy part of it as Democrats and Independents, but way too many people bought Cybertrucks after Musk showed who he really is...
