  • Trump's administration literally pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal that Iran had been abiding by. They weren't developing nuclear weapons, we cut sanctions... Absolutely everyone won. Except Trump, whose fee fees were hurt that a Democrat created this deal, so the overgrown toddler blew it up. Now everything's worse.

  • "Edgy", that's it! Wood chipper, cutting themselves while shaving, falling onto a scythe, whatever... as long as it involves an edge!

But you... I hope you die at age 249 after breaking the record for most orgasms, then pass away peacefully in your sleep surrounded by loved ones and soft animals... (the animals were not involved in the prior activity)

  • The community wasn't welcoming of a brand-new account posting "a few joke/meme comments that got a lot of engagement". Curious. They already have several different accounts created, yet are refusing to link the comments, even on this burner one. Guaranteed it's bigoted "edgy" ones that people weren't down with...

  • "Context is toxic!" You clearly have no problem creating multiple accounts, so the fact that you won't let people here see the comments you're referencing speaks volumes...

  • I ditched Reddit 2 years ago and haven't been back. This is a self-solving problem: as more people use and contribute, there will be more content and engagement.

But as a heavy user of Lemmy (and previously of Reddit), there's things you can do. Chief among them is switching from the "Active" list to "Hot" when you want to see new stuff. I pretty much never run out of content, and that's without even dipping into "New"...
