• The cactus one is from 2019. And the URL has lapsed.

So they aren't drawing from a feed of recent comic strips, it is possible that they are scraping older Reddit posts first.

It's odd. It looks like someone trying to disguise bot posting but where from? The posts are coming in faster than at r/ComicStrips (which is definitely a sign something is up) but not as fast as at r/Comics, and there is no crossover in content.

It's escapism, albeit rather dated at this point.

I suspect one of the reasons for the delay in announcing the new Bond is trying to figure out how to navigate Bond around more modern sensibilities. There were rumours that they might go back to being less serious but, after the Amazon takeover, who knows what will happen. Other than a massive glut of Bond media.

The idea has been raised a few times that this could be a way to get longer videos on the Fediverse

Cinetimes uses it to stream what it claims are public domain films but, looking over the offerings they may be playing a bit fast and loose with that definition.

I use Obsidian with Zettel Notes on my phone to access and edit the MD files in Obsidian, as it is much faster for dashing off a quick note. ZN also has tools that allow you to save a web page or selection as MD which is very handy indeed.

I have largely given up on red meat and cow's milk, I do sometimes have a bit of lamb. It's definitely doable.

Ghost have their code open source and offer paid for hosting which is not unreasonable as you'd to pay to send bulk emails anyway even if you self-hosted (although there are free tiers from some providers if your only send a few hundred a month).

There had been discussion about a Fediverse game and I suggested that a text-based MMORPG (like Urban Dead) would be doable.

It'll soon be covered by the US instances if the Danish army can't see off the Yanks.
