  • Went to a Dave and Busters with my friends, got hella overstimulated but also played Halo and Rampage and some other stuffs. Ate pretzels and strawberry shortcake. Came home to watch cdramas and pass out. It was a good day.

  • Yes! That is exactly why we scrapped that part and started at level two. We tried to play through it and all the players role played their level 0s accordingly and they all chickened out from trying to go up against a god.

We picked up some level two modules and went from there. We’re trading off DMs for each module which makes it fun for everyone. I ran three sessions of Rift of Seeping Night. Now we’re on something I think it’s called Through the Dragonwall.

  • The system feels very different compared to D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder. We skipped the first level where you have three characters you’re trying to keep alive, and started with just one character. Our players are level four now.

I kind of like the spell system because it gives a lot more variety than works/doesn’t work.

  • I finished my first Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign as DM two weeks ago. I will get to be a player while one of my friends takes over for the next module.

Other than that, nothing - we have 30mph winds and 65mph gusts so I plan to stay home as much as possible.

  • I don’t have anything written yet, just ideas at this point. I’m a fan of xinxia and wuxia and I think the concept of cultivation would map well to a TTRPG. My players know little to nothing about xinxia and wuxia so it would be a whole new world for them.

To that end, much of the worlds and lore are already established- heck I could even place them in any fantasy cdrama storyline and adapt from there. My group just created new characters and started a series of DCC modules recently, so I have some time to brew my ideal campaign.

  • Hell yes. Night of the Comet will always be a favorite for me. The idea of having damn near any material stuff you could want combined with hardly any other people around sounds like paradise. Don’t at me with the reality of things cause those don’t factor into my fantasy.

  • Pretty good all things considered. I’m looking forward to the long weekend even though I need to go clean my mom’s house. It will be a fun road trip and for me it’s always more fun to clean other people’s houses.
