  • I dig it. Great work on all your posts! So much cool shit. Makes me feel like back in the 70s and 80s we had big dreams of where the human race was heading. Many people who didn’t make it past those decades would probably be severely disappointed.

  • As a fellow Canadian resident… this is brutal man. I can’t believe people would vote this fuck in again. Like, how can you look at his first four years as the most incompetent president in the history of the us and say “ya I’ll have some more of that?”

What’s also terrifying is the repercussions this will have on our country and our brothers and sisters down south of the American cesspool. Un-fucking-believable. Good job you guys.

  • I love how I feel so tired during the day. I drag my feet around trying to stay busy so I don’t fall asleep. But usually somewhere around 8-9 pm I feel energized and that’s when I decide I want to get shit done. And ready to repeat the cycle of endless tiredness.

  • Literally me this morning. And pretty much every morning. I always regret staying up so late. And I tell myself every morning that today I will go to bed early. It’s no use… I belong to the night. Where my night people at?!!

  • At some point I decided to quit climbing. I realized I had too many thing I wanted to do and become good at, and not enough time to dedicate to them all. And climbing had become this thing where every time I stopped for a while, it kept getting harder to get back to the same level I was before stopping. So I stopped completely.

  • Quite honestly, yes he did. As a young teenager, I started climbing because of Spider-Man. And climbing became my meditation and therapy for a while. I had lots of fun climbing, and I miss it dearly.

  • USA does offer a substantially better quality of life compared to many other places>

Lol no. It “offers” the mirage of a better quality of life. That’s like saying that gambling is a job that will invariably improve your economic position. The chances of immigrants actually improving their life by moving to the U.S. aren’t that good. I mean, most of the countries that people move from at least have socialized healthcare.

  • I think for the most part it stayed in reddit, and I’m so glad it did. But I have run into the odd “classic” reddit comment like “sigh unzips” and jfc did it make me realize how much I had not missed that kind of tired, uncreative, dumb bullshit joke.

Some people really want lemmy, or the fediverse for that matter, to be reddit. And that’s not a bad thing of its own. But maybe we can let it be what it wants to be.
