  • I would have much preferred to play the vita versions, but I left my vita at the foreign in-laws’ and haven’t had a chance for a trip back there. Whenever I get it back, I think I’m going to eventually replay the Sky games there. I miss my vita. :(

  • Regardless, my point is, if you don’t try to understand why your political opponent is doing something, you’ll never be able to fix anything.

I agree, but there’s not much more “understanding” necessary when we’re dealing with child death. If nothing gets fixed after this, then what’s left to try to understand?

  • I get Simpsons, Futurama, x-files and others with my Star Wars, National Geographic and marvel, so I’m happy.

  • I migrated a bunch of my Instagram to a Pixelfed account about a week ago. I like the built in editor in Instagram, so if anyone can suggest a similar alternative, I’d appreciate it.

  • Well if any left winger were to argue that merely believing capitalism with a touch of regulation works is all that makes you a Nazi, I’d be inclined to disagree with them even as a liberal progressive.

For me it’s believing that what you read, what you are taught, who you love/marry, how you practice art, what happens between you and a doctor, and where you were born that needs to be policed, controlled, and punished is what makes a Nazi. I honestly don’t think a genuine American conservative would care about any of that.

  • I literally just wrapped up chapter 3 (what a development!) and can’t believe I have already been at it for over 50hrs already. My goal is to play them all for the first time by order of release, so the western arrival of the cross bell arc couldn’t have been timed more perfectly for me.

  • I imagine traditional conservatives often get gate checked as leftist.

  • I apologize if you are already aware of this, but if you go into Settings Battery, then look at the 24hr graph, you can tap anywhere on the graph where the battery drain is strong to see which apps are eating it up the most. From there you can investigate that app’s settings to see if there are any features you don’t need and can disable. Things like always on location services and background app refresh.

(I’m on a 12mini, which might have the worst battery life of any iPhone in recent years.)

  • Sorry, your reply is poorly articulated and difficult to parse. Could you please elaborate?

  • Oh I didn’t meant to imply it has left our lexicon. I was just curious about it since so many people had things to say, and looked it up. You bring up a really fascinating point about “interracial”, though. If there’s a more appropriate alternative to that word, I’d like to know it.

  • There’s probably someone who can explain it better than me, but MacOS is a Unix-based operating system that’s been around for decades. iOS was actually built off of it. The reason MacOS looks like a “giant iPhone” these is probably because of iPhone’s popularity and a push to make macOS more approachable to people who are more familiar with the mobile device than computers. Macs are still very capable computers at heart, although they aren’t as straightforward to tinker with as you might have grown to expect after using windows and Linux for do long. You can always watch a YouTube video on MacOS evolution if you’re interested.

  • I finished the PSP versions of Trails in the Sky 1 & 2, then watched a summary of 3rd recently. Now I’m playing Trails from Zero on Switch and I can’t put it down. I’ve already earmarked the money for Azure.

  • I’m of the opinion that protecting children has little to do with the actual intended purpose of laws such as these.

  • Out of curiosity, I looked up “race” by anthropological terms in the dictionary and discovered that “race” is…

    1. No longer in technical use.
    2. Described as an arbitrary classification.
    3. A socially constructed category.

“Ethnicities” might have been a more suitable word choice for your intended query.

  • Sigh..,

An international team of researchers from China, Spain and the United Kingdom unearthed the skull

It’s right there as soon as you open the link.

  • This is hands down my biggest issue with apple’s approach to Vision Pro. I don’t even know where to start.

  • I didn’t realize Microsoft was still selling windows XP

  • I know this one!

To fix a detectable USB drive that won’t mount on Mac and Disk Utility can’t properly erase because it was originally formatted on a PC and requires a PC to correct.

  • Forgive if I’m mistaken, but isn’t the vision pro literally an M2 MacBook Air inside a headset with an extra processor to handle the XR related stuff? I imagine many if not most of the things you can do with an M2 Air will inherently be possible with a Vision Pro, assuming it doesn’t get walled out of the garden.

  • Maybe a dumb question, but how does providing money actually offset emissions? Are there emission vacuums somewhere that require payment to operate?
