  • I had a hopeful but naive view of humanity. I thought that progress in science and technology would naturally lead to a more educated and tolerant society. Sigh.

  • Back in the '90s everything messed up was "gay." The teacher won't let you turn in late homework, that's gay. Recess was cut short by a fire alarm, so gay.

    I thought we'd moved past that immaturity.

  • Oh, but it does do something. It makes rich health insurance execs even richer! (Working as intended.)

  • These "justices" are a national disgrace and make a mockery of our justice system. They must be impeached and removed and ethics and honor restored. (This requires a 2/3 vote in the Senate which is unlikely to happen since many senators are equally corrupt and need to be removed as well.)

  • If it is so easy to 3D print guns or put together the parts, how is it that gun control measures in other countries are still effective?

  • Here's an idea: all new guns must only be operable by the person who purchased them after going through rigorous background checks. This will be done using fingerprint technology. The gun simply will not fire unless it is in the right hands.
