  • Every single time I hear a story like this I always say the same thing. We need a Right to Privacy added to the constitution.

  • I have to choose between snuggling or drama

  • I'm single income no kids and go hang out with my sister's kids when I'm bored. When they start getting annoying I bounce.

  • My grandfather would tell me stories about when blacks started to have the same jobs as whites. He said the white men would antagonize the black men purposely. Spit on them, call them the n-word, punch them, anything to get a reaction. Once a black man struck back he would get reported to management, fired, and other employers would refuse to hire a dangerous black man.

  • This nation as a whole instituted slavery and Jim Crow. Yeah there were only a percentage of the population that had slaves but the government legalized it, instituted systems to maintain it, and instituted Jim Crow afterwards. Just like how the Nazis committed atrocities against the Jews during WW2 this nation committed atrocities against African Americans for hundreds of years. No one questions the fact that Germany owes the Jews reparations even though most Germans didn't commit those crimes but when it comes to African Americans and the US everyone has an opinion.

  • Who's not allowed to bring it up? I'll say it all day. I give no fucks that Israel doesn't like it, fuck them.

  • This man likely does not have children or any close family left. He's probably very alone out here and I'd argue that he was better off in prison, as sad as it sounds. In prison he would have had a carr to look after him, guards that (on paper) have to keep him safe, three meals a day, and a life he's already used to. He literally has no experience on living on the outside as an adult and like no support system.

  • When you did your calculations did you factor in the change in minimum wage and inflation? I'm sure the state owes him more than $500k.

  • Lmao! I didn't know we had the internet in the 1900s

  • KeepassXC with a Yubikey. Always buy a backup Yubikey folks.

  • I'll never forgive them for killing iGoogle. I missed my start page so much...

  • I think it should officially be considered sexual harassment. Obtain a picture of someone, generate nudes from that picture, it seems pretty obvious. Maybe it should include intent to harm, harass, exploit, or intimidate to make it official.

  • It would make you a target for law enforcement because you know, you shouldn't stand out when it comes to them.

  • The difference between legal and ethical is one could get you fined or imprisoned and the other would make a group of people not like you.

  • That list should be public because it is within the public interest to know who these dangerous cops are.

  • The question on consent is something I'm trying to figure out. Do you need consent to alter an image that is available in a public space? What if it was you who took the picture of someone in public?

  • It shouldn't be a big deal if they choose to be nude some place that is private for them and they're comfortable. The people who are using this app to make someone nude isn't really asking for consent. And that also brings up another issue. Consent. If you have images of yourself posted to the public then is there consent needed to alter those images? I don't know but I don't think there is since it's public domain.
