  • I wonder what % of windows "users" couldn't even figure out how to burn a windows recovery ISO to a USB, nevermind Linux. Lol.

    I kid. But also curious.

    I use Bazzite BTW:

  • I still feel the same today after a third ❌ vote.

They get like $1,300/day for this?

  • I have to say. I never understood why the grandmother in "Mars Attacks" laughed so hard when they "Blew up Congress".

    Now I do.

  • If you have a 7.1 Atmos setup. There's still not many services actually streaming that audio.

To be fair some discs have the 7.1 audio on Blu-ray but not on the 4KUHD (Pans' Labyrinth is one offender).

I am gonna miss Best Buys sales on physical media I suppose (only time I bought discs).

Having dependence increase on Amazon.....do not want.....

  • "Bazzite is an OCI image that serves as an alternative operating system for the Steam Deck, and a ready-to-game SteamOS-like for desktop computers, living room home theater PCs, and numerous other handheld PCs."

  • Can't even earn enough currency to buy the premium pass for next season is a hard nope for me. Fuk U Blizzard.

And I'm not buying the $6.99 whatever horse pack just to get enough for it either.

Because I'm pretty sure same thing would happen Season 2>3.

I didn't even bother getting my S1 Druid to 100.

  • Fedora!

    But wait.

Actually Bazzite, as a way to consume/deploy Fedora on your host desktop.

Even works great on non 64GB Steam Decks. With gnome available as an option as well.

    Also builds for Nvidia users

Bazzite/Universal Blue is Not a "distro", it's a project. It's not "immutable", it's Atomic OCI cloud based image deployment for your host OS.

It's Chromebook easy, it's Fedora "with batteries included/extra steps."

  • Could probably watch S3 and skip 1 and 2 and be just fine.

  • For what it's worth, same issue happens to me on Kinoite as well. On an AMD board. With AMD 6E/Bluetooth.

My wi-fi works fine and my Bluetooth works fine for audio/headphones so I hadn't realized it was an issue until I got a new dualsense on sale a few weeks back and have been playing corded this entire time 😅

  • Me on Mint Mobile ~$195 for a year of 5GB/month.

  • I love Universal Blue.

It's OCI cloud image based Fedora Silverblue/Kinoite/Serica with extra steps/batteries included.

"The reliability of a Chromebook, but with the flexibility and power of a traditional Linux desktop."

But also probably an easier way for Nvidia Fedora users to game on Linux:

Easily roll back deployments or 📌 one and rebase to something else easy peasy. (So many different choices) Test betas with no fear!

I've actually been gaming on Bazzite for two weeks now:

If you wanna simply make your own image to share with friends/family:

Universal Blue isn't a distro. It's more of a reimplementation/enhancement of Immutable OCI Cloud Based Images of Fedora.

  • Just FYI, universal blue projects can only dual boot if you use seperate disks, due to the way rpm-ostree/OCI partitions are made/function.

I've been using Ublue Kinoite since March.

And Bazzite since two weeks ago.

  • I run on Bazzite:

It's immutable KDE Plasma Fedora but a "Chimera" of Steam and other goodies baked in.

It's steam is installed via an exported Arch Distrobox and plugins like OBS VKCapture work out of box 🥹✌️
