Thanks for sharing this trick. Unfortunately it seems to only be temporary as if you restart the app, it reverts back to the “dark” theme. At least for me it does.

Yeah they don’t work for me either. Reinstalling the app and logging out and back in has no effect I’m afraid.

Good on the pilots. But seems they wouldn’t have a reason to fly anyway if their planes aren’t loaded up by the ground crews.

I’ve been bouncing between final fantasy XVI and Jedi survivor. Slowly making my way through the games and enjoying both.

Yeah I do.. family plan so split the cost with the fam. I find it worth it. But the price increases are certainly concerning. If it keeps going up I’ll drop it.

Anyone hearing anything about any of the iOS Reddit apps making a comeback on Lemmy? We’ve got several from the android side but I can’t recall hearing anything about iOS. You’d think Apollo would make a comeback here.. still hoping this is the case!

I def get what you mean, it isn’t very fleshed out compared to other games that are in the same (apparent) league that the reviews are putting it in. I was just playing a little bit ago and did another of the side quests where you deliver food to people and it’s just so simple seeming (and repetitive since it happens more than once). But in a way I also like the simpleness of it. Maybe it’s appeasing to a certain part of the brain in people where it either clicks or it doesn’t and that is what is responsible for the reviews.

Ff16 is the first final fantasy game I’ve played (so I can’t compare to the others like you can) and at first I felt like this but now that I’m 17 hours in, I get it. It’s just how this game is, it’s not open world. Each area is it’s own thing that you take in.

Games are like an interactive movie and there’s a ratio of moviness to gaminess and this one leans heavier on the moviness side.

I beg to differ. I think it added a nice mix of dark truth to the series. You never really see the low-key social messed up stuff in the trek world so this was like yeah… they’d probably have orgasm inducing games in the future where everyone gets all addicted lol. And making it a virus spreading method really adds to the overall seriousness of it
