  • "slaying the spire" as in playing the video game Slay the Spire. Taking shells is lost on me, and Kava and Kratom are just legal highs/organic substances/dietary supplements/whatever it is called now.

  • Yay! Wishing you both the best. I feel weird promoting a YouTube stream but it's helping me learn a lot by just listening and hearing people's stories. I believe the Zoom number and Whatsapp numbers are posted on his page. Looks like today's is scheduled for 3:30PM COT/UTC -5 and tomorrow's is 6:30PM COT/UTC -5.

  • I like when I start a job and someone has a furry avatar. I know who to go when something weird comes up I can't figure out. It's worked out for me so far.

  • When did you submit the marriage visa? Also congrats! My wife is also Colombian and these last few days have been a fun time

Edit: I wish I could supply more information directly, but I am still trying to learn the visa processes. A local immigrant lawyer runs a daily Q&A stream if you want to hop in and see if you can get a slot to ask about your situation. Link: Jim Hacking immigration law. Dood is a good guy who doesn't bullshit and gets straight to the point. I hope everything goes well for you and your SO

  • I've been trying to introduce people to Jazzcore for the last few years. Check out Last Exits self titled album or anything of John Zorn's Painkiller and some of Naked City's work.

Edit: Realized I didn't say anything about the genre. It's a fusion genre incorporating hardcore punk, metal and free/improvisation jazz. Slightly different from Jazz Punk which always seems closer to mathrock than jazz to me.

  • What machine do these people think they are raging against? A dishwasher?

  • Ironman btw?

  • 🦀🦀🦀 $11 $13 dollars extra on top of membership prices 🦀🦀🦀

  • Does RuneLite not have the longer afk plug-in anymore?

  • Anything more specific they do more than any other Gacha game?

  • I loved that design as a kid and was so upset on the next release. Having fun colored desktops in elementary school then getting the flat chrome design going into middle school made me slightly sad tbh. I did hate the G3 mouse though.

  • My 2017 Shield pro is starting to die and I'm dreading getting another TV box. Anyone have good experience with LibreElec or a similar distro? I am thinking of getting some sub $100 USFF from eBay

  • I still have fun memories of typing "going" in T9. Idk why but it 46464 was fun to hit.

  • I know, I've been trying to work on it. Moving furniture and throwing away things is pretty hard for me.

  • If one likes The Dollop, would they like BTB? I've been listening to the dollop for a few years now and always here BTB mentioned

  • My mom got me my first one in 2019 or 2020 because she thought it was cute (Guyfolye from Silicon Valley). A few months later she asked me if they were just Beanie Babies and I thought that was the end of it. Now every Christmas I get one even though she knows I don't like them and we both snark on the super niche weird ones. She even got custom ones for me and my wife last year. It never ends, and I have 6 sets of beady little eyes staring at me when I'm watching TV in the basement.

  • Metal for the most part now. One of my cousins got into woodworking over lockdown and said I could borrow whatever I need from her (as long as she's not using it)

Torque and breaker bar are my top contenders for stuff I will be using in the foreseeable future

  • Worth getting a multimeter and battery tester vs just a multimeter? Was planning on getting back into soldering and was thinking of just getting a good MM and using that for electric for home and car

  • I bought most of my stuff from there so far. A friend told me to look around forums to see what the "good tools" there are. I got mainly Pittsburgh tools since I'm just starting and they're cheap, but is there anytime I should look at their more "premium" brands?
