I don't downvoted often, but I downvoted because it added nothing to the conversation, coupled with not making any sense in the context.

I appreciate your posts actually putting shit out there to give people clear actionable items. We should all be more like you.

Sure, and if you remove games like Fortnite, it would skew the numbers the other way. It strikes me as an arbitrary distinction.

But, I think what you point out is important, because based on the above replies it seems most people are interpreting this as their desire to play rpg games is what they are saying is more popular, when what is likely really happening is that there are just a lot of casual gamers playing CC type games.

That's basically what happened to me. I still love pvp games, I just don't have the time. It's much more conducive to my lifestyle to play a game I can just pause at any moment and switch to something I need to do.

As I said, it's not much better than a coin toss. And what you just linked to has trump winning 35% of the time. If you say it is going to go one way 35% of the time and it never goes that way, your models are bad because it should have been 0%.

538, which goes by electoral votes, has here winning 55 times out of 100. It's not an overwhelming win for sure and still not much better than a coin toss...but also not "on pace to lose the election."

Never let critical thought get in the way of our 2 minutes hate. This is about interpreting it in a way to justify our dislike, rather than whether the current thing actually does justify it.

Shes an idiot for supporting trump at all, and certainly for marrying him, but someone can support a candidate while also not agreeing with them on everything.

It was an I individual right and that right was taken away and given to the state. And trump was proud of this. No amount of spin will change this.

Eventually I'll bore of watching this desperate attempt to win by getting the last word in, and then I'll just leave. This is how people who don't have to get the last word in act. But for now it's some good entertainment throughout the day.

There's little more pretentious than believing that simply because a person doesn't have some arbitrary amount of training, that they don't possess useful knowledge that you can learn from them.

It's not. I get it now. I'm just pointing out that the confusion was the result of their unrelated comment, rather than their accusation that I "want" it to imply something. I'm explaining what caused the confusion.

Life advice: when I find something boring I stop doing it and find something else to do. I don't continue to do it while announcing to the world how bored I am of it.
