There’s a lot more capability with USB-C audio though. Even entirely discounting Bluetooth, there are plenty of high quality USB-C headphones out there that blow the pants off of what you could do with a 3.5mm jack.
Small modular reactors are a thing now. NuScale has already had their VOYGR SMR plants approved for use in the US. Westinghouse has one that should be ready for sale in the next few years too.
Large nuclear plants aren’t economical for profit generation right now, but SMRs definitely have the ability to be economical for huge power users like Microsoft.
I take it you haven’t read the relatively new study that showed that the radiation in the animals in Eastern Europe is actually more from unregulated atomic bomb testing rather than Chernobyl.
That’s kinda the whole point of these. They’re designed to deorbit and fall back, not stay in orbit. They would need far fewer GEO sats but they have much higher latency and don’t fall back when they die.
Also, most of their starlink launches are done when someone else is paying for a launch too. Rarely do they have a launch that doesn’t have mass or volume left over, and they just shove starlink sats into that as a secondary payload.
Elon is dumb as fuck with a lot of decisions, but Gwen shotwell knows what the fuck she’s doing.
Because they launch these alongside paying customer payloads.
Starlink is FAR from the only thing they launch. A customer pays for a payload, and any volume or mass left over in the launch is filled with small starkink sats.
They have basically $0 on launch costs because of this. They just toss them in when they have someone else paying for the rocket.
Looks great, but I’ll never understand pre-slicing a steak you cook yourself.
It’s good for presentation in a restaurant, but it gets so cold so quick once you slice it unless you have plates stored in a warmer like a restaurant.
Yeah this is one where I don’t think you should ever get out. Ain’t worth it.
If it’s dependent on him being compliant with meds and doesn’t have someone constantly ensuring he’s on them, it isn’t gonna end well. What happens when he just decides he’s fine and doesn’t need them anymore?
Windows largely does actually have a monopoly though. They make up 70% of the desktop OS market. Apple makes up less than 30% of the smartphone OS market share with Android making up over 70% across those dozens of Android OEMs.
Again, nobody is forcing anyone to buy an iPhone. There’s a plethora of competition for phones and Apple is a minority player in the market. Real hard to have an anti trust/monopoly case against a player that doesn’t even hold a majority market share.
There are thousands of smaller companies buying ad space and access to consumer data.
And “buying data” isn’t what it sounds like for the most part. Few companies are out there buying and selling raw data tied to individuals. For the most part it is a company buying heavily targeted ads from someone like Google that has ALL of your data. They know, with surgical precision, how to target ads at you. Company B just tells Google “ we want to target a 35 year old, white, dad of three that is lacking in his masculinity and wants to feel rugged, while not making him feel emasculated”.
lol no worries I was just thinking you meant an XS Max which would be the equivalent to a 10 pro max. Going from that to a regular 11 would be a relative downgrade.
Idk I jumped over to Apple with the 12 and the camera on that was better than my pixel 4XL. I got a 15 pro max now and it blows the pants off my 12.
