Garuda. I wish the base install of wine actually worked, and that half the packages in chaotic-aur weren't buggy as fuck or just completely non functional.
Used to visit the natural history museum as a kid. People would go to the museum just to hear the whale's moans of pain as it slowly bled out. It was actually pretty romantic. Definitely one of my favorite exhibits, right after the living t-rex bones and the planets that feel pain.
Isn't the Texas grid infamously pretty awful? Like wasn't there a whole thing a while back where it got a bit chillier than usual and it became a statewide emergency which left millions without power?
I used to feel this. I always felt like I'm just not cut out for art. Then I made friends with some artists, picked up some techniques from watching them draw, and now I'm fairly confident in my work. I'm not amazing at it, but I've learned to ignore those feelings of insecurity and now I have a lot of fun with shitty little doodles.
Just remember, there's no such thing as a bad art style.
Pointers are variables that don't hold data themselves but instead hold a reference to it. It's really common to redirect pointers to reference something other than what they originally referenced, which is the joke in this comic. He is changing the conversation so that Star Wars actually refers to Jaws.
Slipped on a treadmill as it was running and chipped my tooth. Had to get it capped twice since the first cap fell off after a couple years. Not supposed to chew gum any since that happened but that hasn't stopped me.
At this point I've just blocked every AI art community that I come across. The art itself is rarely interesting and it's really easy to spot. Kinda wish lemmy had more artists, would love some human-made stuff to balance it out.
That's actually fair. I barely pay attention to AAA gaming to begin with, so most of these games just weren't on my radar. I just thought "oh, Starfield was the big hyped flop of the year, of course there wasn't much AAA competition"
Tbh that's a low bar to pass. The newest CoD flopped pretty bad and Rockstar has been too busy with GTA6. Almost every other notable release was either a flop or a smaller studio or indie title.
Humans have been aiding and looking after each other way longer than we've been exchanging fake tokens for labor.
