  • That's very weird. I've never heard of anybody calling the entire crust a shell and just the outer crust the crust. Maybe among people who frequently make pizza instead of just consume it.

  • The patient removed embryos from the freezer, and “it is believed that the cryopreservation’s subzero temperatures burned the eloping patient’s hands, causing him or her to drop the cryopreserved embryonic human beings on the floor, where they began to slowly die,” one of the filings stated.

So the patient killed his or her frozen embryos and now they're suing the clinic for wrongful death of a minor. Makes sense on so many levels.

  • It's amazingly cheap to eat out in Japan compared to the US. I used to live in Japan and have visited since. Just a couple of years ago, even, right before the pandemic struck. It is a little more expensive in Japan now than it was then because they're seeing inflation for the first time in practically forever, but it's still very cheap compared to the US.

It's one of the best things about visiting Japan. You can go nuts eating fantastic food at bargain prices. You can find expensive restaurants if you want to, of course.

  • It really depends on the infection. Some of them require that the toenail be removed in order to treat the infection. And in either case, antifungals are the best treatment, not these old wives' tales other people are giving you.
