Yep, nobody can be forced to use their body for anything, including the survival of a foetus, embryo, or even fully developed human. It's so weird how most people would agree that nobody should be forced to even donate blood to save a life, but if it's a uterus, it's somehow controversial.

Wait is that possible? I'd donate my uterus in a heart beat. But I thought since organ transplants are a big deal and you have to be on immuno suppressants for life if you have one, among other issues, the receiver wouldn't be able to safely be pregnant.

Even if they WERE done for funsies (which, like you said,they're not), they'd just be early c sections. Nobody just kills an embryo if both it and the pregnant person could reasonably survive.

I really thought meme originated from the French meme, meaning self. I thought ppl used it like me_irl, moi meme. I'm realizing this is based on nothing and I might have totally made it up.

Somehow the funniest part is that this isn't anywhere near as painful as a bad period, and the pain doesn't last for days at a time either.

I'd upgrade the depression away from my brain and give myself the ability for hyperfocus at will and to turn off sensory issues. Taking the autism and ADHD away altogether would leave me a different human, idk that almost feels like dying a little bit, or being lobotomized. Wouldn't want to lose a part of my brain that makes me me. But super valid to want to be neurotypical!

Thinking about it, if it counts as an organ, idk if I wouldn't rather change my immune system to stop attacking healthy tissue and get better at attacking viruses instead. Tough choice.

Some countries have a less evil version of Amazon. Mine has shoepping.at, for example.

But also, there's very few things you actually NEED that you can't get anywhere but Amazon. My main strategy in avoiding Amazon is to just reduce my conspicuous consumption. Everything I need, I buy from brick and mortar shops: tech shop, grocery shop, textile retailer, sports shop. When I was living out of town, I'd order from the specific shops/chains website, so at least it was only them who had my address. Also, no account needed.

All of this, of course, depends on what country you live in and what your town/area has to offer. Except reducing consumption.

Can confirm, my country has doctor assisted suicide (as in, they hand it to you to swallow, or you or someone you appointed picks it up from the pharmacy), and it's very reliable and painless.

I've heard this before, and don't get it. I mean, sure, I'm a late bloomer, I was about 20 when I figured out my sexuality and even older when I figured out my gender. But people don't experience attraction before puberty, right? How do they know what groups of people they'll grow up to be attracted to?

No offense, but this post is sort of crazy to me because I've read a bunch of comments explaining how it actually happens, and id categorize all of them as normal results of critical thinking. As in, you could've answered your own question with some critical thinking.

Oh absolutely. Far less likely though*, since car drivers actually have accountability here. As soon as there's no fear of punishment, ppl will be assholes. I'd rather people don't be assholes. Also, one sidewalk cyclist broke my glasses and I couldn't afford new ones, another one hit me on a way where my hip still creaks years later. So again, I'd just rather every participant in traffic abides by the rules and doesn't endanger others, even if the danger isn't life threatening.

My city is super walkable with great walking and biking infrastructure. Still get run over by some fuck on a bicycle or escooter on the sidewalk or zebra crossing.

Funnily enough, calculator is one of the few proprietary apps I've paid for and still happily lose. Wolfram alpha just does many things that other calculators don't.
