This won't work if you use actual, classic TV. But I researched for a fair while and found none of the dumb TVs are cheaper than low end smart TVs. Not by a long shot. So I got a giant computer screen instead. I just connect my switch or my laptop.
My fairphone even SHOWED me the mic was running, in the top banner. Sure enough, google had accessed my mic that minute, clearly stated in the settings. I've turned it off since, but I don't trust that. I'll have to get around to switching to calyx.
Man I loved the 2016 one. Got the 2020 one when that broke and that was already too big for me. I have chronic tendonitis, stretching like that is painful.
No offense or anything but I don't get it? It's so much comfier to go back to the couch and look at memes there. Unless this is a workplace where for some odd reason you'll be called out for having your phone out while at your desk but not for being gone for half an hour. Like I'm not trying to offend here, just to understand.
Unrelated, but if she's ever interested in sharing, I'd be interested in hearing what it was like to be a female dev in the 80s! It's tough enough today.
Dumb question, what's the advantage of that over having them stored on hard drives (2 separate ones in case one breaks)? Been casually interested in starting to self host
That thing about there not being a recording is precisely why emails give me mad anxiety and calls do not. Granted, you have to tell/text me to find a time that works for both. Otherwise, I'll return the call at my convenience. Also, I hate when a task has to be on my mind for several days because there's back and forth over email because of questions. Makes me anxious as well. Guess what I'm saying is, people have different preferences for different reasons and that's fine. No reason to argue why you think your preference is objectively superior.
A vegan will have a larger sample size of non-vegans interacting with them than vice versa, simply because a small percentage of people is vegan. So their experience of said interactions is much less anecdotal.
Ooh I know that one! They are in a social situation that involves food and the vegan politely declines an animal product. Then they make an anti vegan joke and the vegan politely disagrees. Have been there many times.
