  • Rough that the driver calls a lack of inspections a "loophole", I wonder if the original text has the implication that inspections are needed at every step or any "loopholes" will be used to save some profit margin

  • I moved into a house where a person with "basic electrical skills" lived and there are so many fire hazards and death traps. I wish electrical assistance was cheaper so people doesn't mess with that. It was an old partner to the person I moved in with and she was upset that I hired an electrician to redo quite alot[

Not anything against your skills, the phrase just reminded me of my former home :P

  • Interesting!

I was thought the five continent model as a child concerning the geographic continents (but Australia was called Oceania) and the seven continent model in society class (Samhällsorientering)

  • "probably" is more "likely fracture" if you get punched by them and you take the full 1500 newtons straight on the finger.

    According to https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.1515/bmt-2012-0004/html

(I can only access the abstract) fractures appear at an average of 1485 N, albeit in a different situation (jamming rather than strike)

  • Around here (Sweden) I would bet a bit that any fish from the Baltic Sea is both common and super old member of the diet for the population around the water. Salmon is also a great contender being found in the rivers as well.

Any of the easily hunted animals that are still around, don't know if it's "common" if it's seen as a delicacy outside of hunting families though
