YouTube cracking on ad blockers.

  • Same. I've been using youtube almost daily both on firefox (with ublock) and android (revanced) and haven't seen any notification to turn off adblocker.

    • I hate how everything requires you to download a shitty proprietary data harvesting app nowadays when everything can be done just fine without an app.

  • Assuming ios has the same extensions as android, I recommend ublock origin. Used it for years on both PC and android with hardly any issues.

  • I use that everytime I go to uninstall something. You can configure it to scan your system registry and local files for residual files that the software's uninstaller won't remove.

  • For the most part, yeah. The only way to avoid getting into matches with bots is to find community servers with active moderation. I queue into Uncle Dane's servers when I feel like booting up TF2.

  • A lot of those "players" are bot accounts though. TF2 is not a good comparison for active players.
