  • Advocating for violence to prevent a fascist from abolishing the democracy is the only acceptable violence. Sometimes a democracy has to be protected violently if it is too weak to protect itself. Trump allies always say its why they have the second amendment. Now that it is used against them they cry about it.

  • Same for the left in germany. Previously it was full of people supporting Putin. Those people founded there own party now, calling for left policies only for germans. Social nationalism. The remaining people in the left claim to be pro Ukraine but are still against sending weapond to Ukraine, making them essentially pro russian.

  • Because the far right offers simple solutions. That these solutions will only lead to things being much worse and Germany being completely ruined as a result is something they dont understand. Our biggest "newspaper" has been constantly bombarding people with fear and hate for decades and it only got worse and worse. Uneducated people who read that will panic and vote for those offering the simplest solution.

  • The left, as in die Linke definitely does. It has great approaches to make life better for the working class. Unfortunately their foreign policy is so terrible they are unvoteable for me. A party that is against delivering weapons to Ukraine cannot get my vote.

  • They dont want to help working class people though. They say they want to help working class people whö they consider french enough. Just like the NSDAP said they wanted to help working class people they considered german enough. It's a lie to get votes. Their actual policies would hurt working class people.

  • The difference is that Trump supporters vote him because he has the fascist stamp. I don't see a majority of american voters vote for someone they think is a communist. The red scare is too much alive in boomers head for that
