The fact that Biden even stepped on at all, should tell you how bad the situation was. Also he's not talking absolutely all the credit for this. Biden wasn't there to make demands, he acted as a mediator to try and resolve this issue before it could hurt the country he was responsible for.

The government cannot just force a company to make drastic financial policy changes. I do wish they'd dictate CEO wage limitations, but that is a different discussion.

He tried to appeal to normies. The people who use these virtual spaces isn't your everyday people. Also what company is going to pay, let alone enforce vr meeting spaces. "Ok team, we're about to go over today's TPS reports. Put on this motorcycle helmet and awkward gloves for the next two hours." The only meetings I've ever held in those types of virtual spaces is about those virtual spaces.

People think everything stops during a shutdown. Not true essential employees are still required to report to work while non essentials sit at home because Republicans live shutting the government down.

Are they though, at least in the circles I frequent I don't see that. But I do avoid mainstream social media.

Tesla use to be the only widely recognized source for EVs. Nowadays people who buy new ones find out how poorly put together they are. There are more options available and ev charging stations are popping up even in my smaller town.

I had to look and the district next to mine is part of it. My representative still voted to decertify the election.

Many years ago a bunch got together and essentially took over a town. Several years later the town got over ran by bears because no one wanted to handle trash properly.

Knowing people with severe bipolar Kanye always makes me sad. He refuses to be on medicine and just says wild shit. It doesn't excuse any of his statements, but he could still come back from this. Fat Kanye was happy.

This is just one group, there are groups all over trying to restore nature. One of the saddest I heard was about a wildfire (strengthened by climate change) utterly destroyed a very significant percentage of Joshua Trees. They've been trying to restore them but only like 1% of the buds they planted yield something. Don't discount any effort to improve.

Which isn't inherently wrong if they have donated themselves. They have a massive audience they can reach out to. I think people just like shitting on rich people. Which is fine they can take it.
