  • Most channels have a patreon because of that reason. Better to have the fans support you than whatever new monetization model YouTube comes up with. (No bad words in the first minute, reviewers have to play movies flipped so they won't be copyright struck, ads can do whatever they want but if you make a video talking about said ads only using those ads you guessed it demonetized). Google (alphabet)is an empire at this point and we need the government to create a new branch of government to handle online businesses because our 80+ year old representatives came understand that Mark Zuckerberg has nothing to do with iPhones.

  • This is like that episode of Parks and Rec where Leslie married the penguins because it was cute, later to find out there were both boys, this making her action a political statement. People are fucking stupid, that person who complained could have easily looked it up after being informed of what the symbol meant. The board deserves to be sued for their shit decision. Who decides not to sponsor a parade because one of the floats is for pride? Sounds to me like the board is the one with the agenda.

  • Tax evasion, no. Fraud oh yeah most definitely. This year's current tax scheme is claiming the fuel tax credit, previously it was self employment COVID relief credits. The IRS is going after them and don't trust tax preparers who say they can get you a much bigger refund. They usually are committing fraud.

  • You're not wrong, I work for the government and if our utility services shut off for more than an hour I think we go home. People are saying that time without water would suck but I mean they are pissing in bottles and shitting in buckets. Does that make it right, no. But unless you have a medical emergency an hour fifteen is not going without water.

  • I agree with your statement, the fact that Musk can just make decisions like that is an issue. Regardless of whether or not he owns the majority of the company he agreed to provide this service. That means he should have to give ample notice before disabling the service.
