  • De-googling is not enough, there must be nothing to de-Google from the start.

  • Syncthing is like a base layer for a personal P2P system, beyond the basic file sync I use Syncthing to sync Joplin Notes, Money Manager Ex, KeePass, RetroShare and what ever else I can.

  • Imagine not compromising my morals cost me a lot. Time after time. But as someone with a strong consciousness, I know it will cost me more to compromise on my personal values. It's just that it's not a monetary cost.

You sound like an economical slave, why do you accept the situation?

  • I love 2077 but CDPR keeps on ruining my modded excellence with worthless patches. I wish they'd just give up and leave it to the many amazing modders to add content and fixes. 🤷‍♂️

  • Depends mainly how many videos you plan on hosting, storage space is the biggest issue.

I've self-hosted a 5€ Peertube instance before, no problems. Expanding the storage would be rather cheap but I never hit the 500GB VPS limit before I got bored of the whole thing and shut it down.
