  • I'd think that 2 big cars might be an indication that there's more stuff to be found inside, not from an old lady, but a guy who seems helpful and would open up to help a girl in need? I guess there would be accomplices, who might be able to know about the cameras?

But I'm just thinking out loud. Idd is pretty weird, all the parts of the entire story. If it is real, given how there are stores nearby, I'd think she would find someone there fast? And she prolly would be safe?

The Police being so apathetic is super fucked though. I'm guessing you're from the states? Police really aren't that trustworthy there, right?

  • Im in a bubble where these guys are like the most laughable parody of themselves so maybe I'm biased but... I mean nobody is taking this kind of stuff serious right? I mean cool, free speech and such but dumb behavior had consequences, right?

  • In my 30s:

    • can get a 50k mortgage with my salary but ok I rent a decent place
    • dad's old car works fine for me
    • beaches are crowded shit holes but garden is lively and nice and wild.
    • make just below average income at one of our countries best universities.
    • 4 cats that are awesome, hobbies that are awesome, friends that are awesome, and I can smoke weed whenever I want nowadays.

Yeah the machine should still burn but at leasty I can be moderately happy without paying.

  • You can get a cooling mat, similar principle as stone etc, but weird softer pillow-y. Couple of our cats love it in summer, and you can simply flip them if they turn warm.

Maybe some cold water, or even water with some ice?

  • A suicide mission might not be as much of an issue if someone's entire life is in shambless due to economic collapse, no healthcare and God knows what else is cooking up over there in the US. I mean, you're prolly very tight that the feds are on top of it, but human life can be pretty squishy, especially for a ca. 80 y.o. man. Someone could leave a carrot on the white house doorstep and he might trip and snap his neck, who knows.

But I'm more curious about the people who lose everything, are getting truly desperate, and have nothing left to fear.
