  • The watch has a great size and screen to start with. The main demerits are the poor battery life and locking features behind a paywall. There are features provided with similar products like the Apple Watch that are locked behind a fit bit subscription.

  • I’d say it’s not worth it unless it’s super cheap. I have one I bought at full price that has been in its box since I bought it. Used it for one week to really give it a go. The issues I had with it in combination with the pixel 6 I also don’t use anymore are the reason I am losing faith in Google’s vision of Android hardware.

  • I listened to this today and I believe they have a lot of potential to last. They’re working out some kinks like audio but I know they’re all more than smart enough to get it. Getting sponsors for hardware reviews is going to be crucial too.

  • While I don’t use safari as my main browser I don’t understand the hate. I love using safari when I’m trying to use a site that isn’t playing nice with Firefox or I’m trying to extend the battery of my laptop.

  • You’re right, they make premium ones too. I just started seeing these. Do you know if they offer more features other than build quality/screen quality/etc? I would imagine the Chromebooks would have battery life advantages at least over a windows PC equivalent.

  • You’re totally right. I was simply trying to make the point for using one over a chrome book considering the low impact work flow. I think there are some Chromebooks that cost as much as the MacBook Air? Who are those for?
