  • Both fedora and ubuntu are supported officially while community wise manjaro, linux mint and ubuntu non lts.

  • Thanks i never noticed it since it has been a while since i used it

  • There is Gallium a linux based os for chromebooks.

  • If you like an online one , you can use photopea.

  • Playonlinux usually has patches to make things work.

  • Gallium is only for chromebooks. For this i would recommend lmde or mx linux. There is wine for running windows program.Just check the wine index for apps which you would run.

  • Pulseaudio used to be the standard audio server.Only recently pipewire has been taking its place.

  • Yeah pretty much like mx linux but with ubuntu lts as base.

  • The same is also when using .deb or .rpm files right

  • Vanilla OS and Blend OS are also immutable with atomic upgrades and has distrobox if you want packages from different distros.

  • just type "snap list" in terminal

  • Open a new terminal and you should be fine. When using sudo you get root level access.

  • Just check in snap list

  • From what did you install deb package, flatpak or snap.

  • Bruh is an informal term for a male friend, often used as a form of address

  • Mint does have proprietary codecs and drivers . He is talking about their applications

  • I agree with this . High chance the boot order might be messed up by windows.

  • My choices would be :- Fedora Debian testing Void linux
