I just got their ultimate 2 wireless today. It's really nice and works very well on Linux. I just wish their app worked at least through wine. I couldn't even make it work in a Windows VM. Hope they bring it over.

I think the controllers work fine, but I'm hoping they will make their app available on Linux

Mine already died from old age. Gave me 9 years of use. I am not even mad that it died. lol

Man, that would be great if you could find the steps. I've tried doing that, but it failed. I even tried to find it in the BIOS and found nothing.

Hey, coming back to this comment. Would you be able to share how you setup your controller to wake up the system from suspend? I've been trying for a while, but nothing works. Do I have to be in steam game mode, or can it be done on normal desktop mine on Cachy OS?

I didn't have video games in my youth, so I'm just catching up now.

That was a nightmare I'll never recover from. That laptop is now running windows 11. It's what made me promise myself to never ever touch Nvidia ever again. I'm now all Red on my desktop and life is so much better.

As long as the graphics isn't that hybrid Nvidia Optimus or whatever the hell they call it, you're good. That hybrid shit was a nightmare to get working, and it never worked right either.

Never had an Nvidia GPU, so I have no idea what that is. lol

I got similar results in ratchet and clank rift apart. Turned hdr off the picture was amazing. On resident evil 4 I now have hdr. Same with uncharted 4. Indiana Jones straight up crashes with toggle HDR. I guess it is per game

two games so far, inidian jones and the great circle and Resident evil4 so far

Now, that's fucking real savings right there (I know I know it's only savings when you don't spend your money blah blah.lol). So proud of you.

I do this literally every single day from my Linux machine with no issues. In fact, right before i came to lemmy, I transferred a 120GB game folder from my windows drive to my Linux one.

I dual boot and and I have 4TB HDD that is also formatted to NTFS. I can access both from my Linux system, and move files between the two, with ntfs-3g all the time. I even have them both automount on boot and have never had an issue.

Until this post, I've always thought this paragon software was to be used on Windows to access the Linux ext4/btrsf... Etc drives!

I've never heard of proton-em. Probably have, but didn't know what it was. Is it on protonplus app? I'm going to try it. Thank you.
