  • I forgot that too. Modders pulled their content from Nexus because their content was getting sold on console without their knowledge. This made fans be upset at modders, while they should have been mad at Bethesda for facilitating "theft".

  • Expecting Bugthesda to take modders seriously is like asking a venture capitalist to share with the poor. It's definitely in the realm of "it could have been better in theory" but in practice you know that Bethesda can't be arsed to do anything for their community unless it means more profit.

  • The quality mode not working is the only real bug. Mods being broken because of an update is expected and normal. Give the mod creators time to update their work and it will be fine.

Unless they've moved on to other projects, then you gotta use a specific version of the game. But that's also not out of the ordinary.

  • For example, Nintendo fans in general will give massive backlash to reviews that are not 10/10 for Nintendo games, even if the lower score is legitimate.

This sounds like an anecdote, if anything. Nintendo fans are usually mad at Nintendo for missing the mark with certain games, not with the reviewers.

  • Not just insight, but also not afraid to push back a little against Crofty when he said Alonso's last stop was working out well. He corrected him by saying Alonso is making the most of a terrible situation. You don't see Martin do that too often.

Not saying Crofty needs to be 100% correct all the time. When you're talking for 2+ hours you're allowed to make some mistakes, as long as they get picked up and corrected. Like today. It was civil and nice.

  • Watching the replay, it looked crazy how he was able to keep it under control. It felt like he countered before the car actually lost control, that's how fast he reacted.

He might be the oldest driver but damn, he's got some tricks still.

  • Apparently the prompt for asking is triggered because the "new" version is a different executable than the shortcut you're using is pointing to. So you could fix that by creating a new shortcut.

Another fix would be to get rid of Teams, but when you're on a corporate license there's not much we can do about that
