Guess who just got themselves put on the "do not respond to emergency calls" list?
Side note:
Reem’s says, however, its policy isn’t against serving armed police officers. It’s against allowing guns inside its businesses.
It's San Francisco. Aren't police the only ones allowed to open carry there? So it's just a de facto ban on cops.
Edit: gotta say, I'm confused about the downvotes. I'm pointing out that the police are likely to retaliate. Did I say something that gives the impression I'm condoning that?
he was not only backed by the incompetent GOP but also by the very competent Russia
And opposed by an incompetent DNC who hamstrung themselves by sabotaging a popular candidate to prop up a wholy unlikable one, disenfranchising a not-negligible chunk of their voters
This isn't really news. States have always been able to restrict sales of certain drugs at their discretion. There's a reason that until recently, you had to get a prescription just to get Sudafed in Oregon while you could just get it over the counter in almost any other state.
Biggest difference is that Ukraine would be doing much better in regards to control of airspace.
The best use of these f-16s isn't going to be as air superiority fighters, but in the wild weasel/SEAD role.
Their ability to use HARM missiles in their "self-protect" and "target of opportunity" modes (which is only possible with NATO-spec avionics) will massively improve Ukraine's air defense suppression and elimination capabilities, freeing up their Soviet built mig-29s and SU-27s to face off against Russian aircraft. Not to mention open up airspace to rotor-wing assets for CAS or logistics.
Currently, they're only able to use the harm missiles in "pre-briefed" mode, which requires them to know the area of an air defense site, and then it targets the radar emission in that zone. The other two modes are able to detect and seek out air defense sites on the fly, as it were
4x10 with a three day weekend was the best schedule I ever worked - before I had kids.
Now, if I had to start an hour earlier and end an hour later, I wouldn't be able to drop my kids off at school or coach their sports teams and lead their Cub Scouts pack after.
One of the bigger factors is that in order to cut costs, they're using thinner and thinner material for the box. So they used to be strong enough to withstand the force other than at the perforation. Now the same perforation is stronger than the boxes' crush strength
