We have - I was going to type decades - but centuries of case studies and writing about why people get roped into cults of personality and insane belief systems despite looking like lunatics from the outside.
What do you even think is happening to these people? Based on your previous reply the answer is "I have no idea" which should tell you you should look a little deeper into what's happening.
Maybe they're too far gone, but you're talking about impressionable young boys, like 10-16. At those ages we as a society agree that a lot of all childrens personalities aren't dictated by their own choices since they lack the life experiences and cognitive abilities to function as an adult. Instead they're highly impressionable, influenced by their social sphere and nowadays their social media feeds.
So sure, maybe you could say they're fucked from the jump, but understand that they are not taking as active of a role in who's forming their thought processes like a 25 year old getting hooked on Tate is.
The common art keeps giving them long feathers on their arms but I would have assumed long feathers only evolved on flying birds and most of the feathers on the flightless dinosaurs would be pretty uniform.
We're pretty sure now that they were more similar to birbs with proto feathers acting as fur. So many of them probably would be puff balls. Although it was also hotter back then.
In theory you just have a dozen or so bags that you can take with you every time. The knee-jerk reaction is to call it something the company does to offload responsibility, but unfortunately for us Americans this is the norm in many other places in the world and they deal with it fine.
To that point, I think it's also unnerving how natural it is. This isn't some alien world. I could go to the Mojave and walk around for 5 minutes to find a photo identical to this. Earth is indistinguishable to one of these rocks hurtling through space, there's just something growing on it very briefly.
Very glad this can't be me barring some medical issue. I drink almost exclusively water and coffee. My diet isn't anything to write home about but I'm definitely flushing the kidneys regularly with plain old water.

Idk how you could get that from what I posted. I first of all said I didn't play minesweeper anymore because I tried it for a while and realized I could solve every board in what I felt was a trivial way. Even if solitaire isn't actually a logic puzzle by your definition I still used it as an example of a solved game that is worth replaying.
This is like if I said I don't play that placing blocks into holes anymore because I think the strategy of matching the shape in your hand with the shape of the hole in the box is boring and trivial even if you change the shapes of the blocks every time and you responded with "OH! By that logic you don't like any puzzles ever???"
No, by that logic I don't replay logic games and puzzles more than once if I've figured out that the strategy to beat them is trivial. Saying I either have to like minesweeper or I dislike every logic game is dumb, that seems like pretty straightforward logic. I even go to bat for solitaire, a logic puzzle, in the very post you replied to.
