Rebuilding from code up instead of continuously adding to an overburdened foundation, I don't know why he'd want to start fresh at all. And he can't just rebuild and re release because the "mod scene"would pitch a fit
"gamers" would have a cow if there was ever a sequel seriously discussed. He already charged them once, how dare he charge them again.
I suspect 10-20% of the community would take that stance, even if it's only a few%, it would absolutely be magnified by the echo chamber and there will be talk or how concerned ape left stardew valley "incomplete" and it's "abandon-ware"and all future products should be pirated.
Do something poorly/dangerous in the gym, attach yourself (politely) to the person who comes to help,
Or do something you're passionate about and offer your knowledge to people who are earnestly trying their best but not doing it well (be conscience and ask if they'd like your experience to guide them)
Alternatively go hang out at an old folks home, they'd love your company, they'll regail you with stories from their glory days, and they'll probably talk you up to their family.
Volunteer your time at animal shelters/public service events.
Very easy to tell if someone knows what they wrote about in a two minute conversation. My wife grades/t.a's at a university, it's obvious when someone doesn't know the information in person (and she's very understanding towards people who cannot verbalize the information but still know it). The old professors aren't very keen to it, but the graders can very easily smell the bullshit.
And if you know the information well enough, but send it through gpt for editing/refinement, that's usually accepted, unless you're in a class that grades on composition.
I tried to address that by 1) having the silent protagonist option where the story unfolds as it would without the flourish before the canned response so now it's only 3x as much, and 2) all of the response dialog is the same because they were going to reply the same way as they would to the good or bad option anyways.
This will triple the amount of PC options that need to be "written" but the rest of the writing (NPC dialog) doesn't have to change at all, and that's where most of the writing goes anyways.
I wonder if they could fix that by having 4 options that align with whatever archetype you've selected.
Then you don't need "ridiculously good" "meh" "ridiculously evil" ".... Just continue the story" options
Pick if you want to play ridiculously good, meh, or ridiculously evil at the start of the game, or if you want to be a passive observer. They'd have to write 3x more player dialogue, but that's really not that much (have the responses barely change, you know they barely change anyways)
The sheets of paper are getting filled in minutes before they're announced,
The teams can trade their picks between each other,
It's not known what teams are going to take what players, if my team (4) thinks team 1 is going to take player A, and team 2 isn't interested in that player but team 3 is, if team 1 takes player b instead my team might talk with team 2 about trading draft pick positions so we can get that player.
There's a lot of talking between a lot of professionals representing a lot of teams, the whole situation is very fluid, and it might change the course of your franchise (unless you're the Jets)
The draft is being held in your state this year, it's the first time as far as I can recall, they want to make a good show of it so it might return some day.
