  • anyone else looking forward to the anime adaptation of “Chillin’ woke AF in another world with 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.”?

  • As someone on the other end of this, it’s incredibly frustrating when tickets are submitted, detailed issues provided, and then nothing happens for weeks only to be met with an “are you still having that problem we didn’t fix?” Reply, then asking for all the information present in the ticket, only to have the problem continue to not be fixed. No, it is not a user error when Adobe can’t validate an enterpise license or teams cannot make a voice call without crashing.

  • A big thumbs up to that

  • Not entirely sure what your point is. This seems like a good (and literal) barrier of entry to protect people who are not physically capable of taking the footpath.

  • Time was you could just post one, but then all the teachers had to be like “Wikipedia isn’t a source” so society decided to say “fuck you, teach.”

  • This is the biggest issue and wool over the eyes of American voters. We only focus on presidential elections even though the President holds very little power to affect change (not saying the president of the United States is not a powerful individual, and of course that presupposes a Supreme Court that determines rulings based on law and not political ideology but that’s beyond my point).

You know who actually holds literal power at the federal level? Our state reps and senators.

You know who actually holds literal power at the state level? Our local reps and state senators.

And yet no one pays attention to local politics.

It IS the fault of the current media landscape and educational system that this is the case.

But we (US citizens) could maybe take 5 minutes to actually pay attention to local elections instead of just yelling about “Me President!” for 1 week evey 4 years.

  • This presupposes that every single person working to make change in their home is willing to just up and leave at a moments notice (or years in advance, which kind of undermines the entire motive to want to effect change, again in their home)

  • Well you clearly haven’t actually played the game so you do you.

  • Are you a bot stuck in 2020 or something? Seriously complaining about Cyberpunk and using lazy talking points from its launch still? Jesus.

  • please its clearly pronounced U I N N E S S E M I T G

  • this is the bottom

What does that even mean? You sure spent a lot of energy spreading completely useless and out of date information.

  • not to shit on you or anything, but I think this is also probably a result of modern sedentary lifestyle. (I am currently in my mid thirties and feel physically broken). just a PSA to everyone—continue to just do physical activity so you can physically perform activities.

  • The fascists are pikachu facing that people are fine voting for another democratic candidate after one day because they cant fathom losing their strong man candidate. In their world Dems losing Biden = loss of voters because if Trump somehow stopped running literally no one would turn out for the GOP ticket. Lesson is: one party is based on a vague platform, the other is based on a lunatic personality cult.

  • Uh, the name is Butthead

  • Obvious bait

but to answer your stupid question: Things that could be easily answered by a google search are pretty stupid to post here. The implied intention of this community, and the subreddit it was inspired by, is to provide a space for people to ask questions that don’t have an immediately identifiable and/or definite answer and require certain social understanding to navigate.

“How many gallons of water to fill a pool?”, for example, is a question that does not belong here because you could easily find that info using a search engine (or even better, your pool’s owner’s manual).

“How do you know when you’ve been swindled?” is something that does belong however, because it’s asking for personal experience to help navigate a situation that cannot be provided by a search engine.

  • If you want Biden to win vote for Biden. Jesus fucking Christ.

Gaming primaries is a potentially valid idea but in what world do you think voting for the other candidate in a winner-takes-all election would help your desired candidate win?
