Censorship is a problem when it is a political state with armed military force to back it up and disappear individuals for unsanctioned speech.
This is a free-to-use, volunteer-run website —if you are posting shit and it’s consistently censored (read: deleted) then you might be the problem.
People these days are deranged in their notion of what free speech and censorship means—you do not have a legal right to post the most egregious shit to a privately run website and not face consequences from that private entity. Also, no one’s cutting out your tongue. Feel free to go out on the street and spout whatever shit you want.

I was yelling about how windows 11 swapped out text listingzs for copy, paste, etc from its contextual menus for stupid icons just the other day. Modern UIs are becoming so “streamlined” to the point of uselessness.
The “I hate the sound of my voice” refrain is the most annoying shit I hear and honestly think most people who vocalize that thought are just acting out their own internalized script of how to not appear self-centered (while actually being incredibly self-centered). Your voice sounds the exact same to everyone else coming out of your fish-hole as it does coming out a speaker.
Edit: I’m not saying that your perceived own voice doesn’t sound different to you when speaking versus when played back initially but after years of doing recorded voice work I can say—you get used to it pretty quickly and the differences kinda blend away into a wash of “that is how I sound.” That is why I find that common refrain to be annoying.
Anyway, no one listening to a recording of you thinks “oh they sound weird.”
Neir: Automata and Nier: Replicant were on a steam sale recently and I picked them up.
Automata had been on my radar for a while and I assumed it was just one of those annoyingly difficult souls-likes throw the controller at the wall type games that also (feat.) a Waifu—color me surprised with how in-depth and bizarre the world building and game design was.
Replicant had its issues but the remake was equally fantastic.
Both were wonderful surprises. Considering you just got a steam deck I’d say get both.
one is significantly 1) more useful and 2) does not cost $4000 to move next time the shitty apartment you’re renting gets sold to be “renovated” into luxury (cardboard) condos.
thats not entirely accurate. Yes there was not as much enthusiasm behind Hillary as there was behind Obama, and she had a lot of (mostly invented) baggage, but she lost beacause she didnt campaign in a meaningful way lost a few swing states by a small margin (because yes, most reasonable people assumed she’d be the next president—and so many reasonable people assumed that eventuality that she won the popular vote by a wide margin).
Trump is noise and makes money for media outlets so they give him a massive and constant boost of brand recognition. They could’ve all been even mildly responsible in 2020 and just stop talking about the out of office former president but instead they kept him in the zietgeist which allowed him to run again this year.
I am still finding hope in the fact he did not win reelection the first time against a walking corpse elder statesman, and has not won elections for most of his endorsed down-ballot candidates in the past X years.
Anyway, people who do not want him in office should go and vote against him.
(and people who do want to see him in office again, sorry you shouldn’t vote for a lot of reasons but the biggest one being they’ll know who you are and that’s how they get you and also vaccines are mandatory for the polls so you should stay away and they’ll also forcibly swap your genitals and ITS REALLY TRUE FOLLOW ME ON FACETUBE)
