  • cm0002 can NOT do that. He lives online, yet calls other people who post a lot, "trolls." lol

  • Agreed! I admire your balls to stand up to the wave of hate and downvotes.

It's crazy that you get downvoted so much for having a fair opinion. lol

  • I get what you’re saying, but this specific group already does this to scale.

And are you all happy they do that? Because you're proposing to do the same thing. So how does that make you any better than them?

  • They should all stick together and no one should respond.

sure. Because the world is like Lemmy. They'll totally do that. Riiiiggghhhttt.

  • It matters, and you used up the “I’m just a guy posting things” justification.

But why would that matter? It's the message, not the messenger. I AM just a guy posting things.

You're the one that seems to be implying that just because I'm the one posting it, the message should be disregarded. Is that fair to the AP News people who wrote the article, who researched it, who did all the reporting--all of their hard work?

Not only that, I didn't even post the article, I posted a LINK to the article. But you want to disregard everybody's hard work and fact finding, because you don't like me. And you don't even know me.

Your bias is affecting your judgement. Is that really what you've become since the election didn't go your way? Someone who's so blinded by frustration that they will just ignore facts simply because of the poster.

You even actively, publicly requested that I get banned. And I post links AP news and reuters articles. But hey, you don't like me, so that's totally enough for a ban, right?

Also, feel free to post all the articles you want if you don't like mine.

And, unlike you, I'll choose to judge them based on content, not you as a poster.

You can even go farther. Start your own community and only post content you want, and don't let people you don't like post there. That way it can be 100 percent your little gated community.

I'm fine if ya chose that route too.

  • Trying to sanewash Musk’s wholesale demolition of every US support structure by describing it as a “cleansing” the government is intentionally disingenuous

I didn't choose or edit the headline. That's AP News. Are you implying that AP News wrote an intentionally disingenuous article? Because I'm not quite sure where you are going with this line of thought.

  • I'm not American because I don't some random word from Seinfeld? While posting in a political community? Ok...

Sorry to burst your narrative, but I'm american and older than you are.

  • I have no idea what that means, never seen that word, and definitely not looking up based on what you have been saying so far.

  • The truth about what? I don't even know what you are going on about.

  • No, I don't see how you mocking oral sex has anything to do with politics or this article. Unless you are just trying to be uncivil and mock people. Which I don't think adds to the esteem that this community should be striving for. Maybe try showing a little class. I'm not your enemy. You don't even know me.

  • I don't know. How would I know that. Care to explain what that means?

  • I don't think so. What part of the article makes you say that? Any proof?

  • But you don't know me. And this community isn't about me. This community is a political news community and I posted community news from an approved news org. So what seems to be your issue?

As long as the link is approved and valid, what's it matter who publishes a link to a news article? Seems like a "you" problem, not my problem. You can easily block me or leave this community if you don't believe certain people should be allowed to post here.

Last I checked tho, it was a public community.

  • This whole place is leaning so far left it’s almost horizontal.

Yep, and look in this very thread. Someone calling out for mods because I posted a freakin' article AP News. lol Not only does Lemmy lean too far left, many on Lemmy actively try to suppress any articles that don't fit into their narrative--regardless of how accurate the article is or who it's from.

  • It's CNN's article title, I didn't change the title.

  • DOGE is permanently disabling the organs of the federal government in real time in ways that are not possible to repair.

Good. Smaller government is a good thing.

  • for posting an AP News article and following community guidelines?
