  • Wow..... You mean you told that even before l was born ??😳😳😳

By the way, l saw the birth of the internet.

  • What could the views of a lemmy user be like whose country has a part of the British Empire for 190 years, whose country has been fragmented by the British Empire during its colonial rule, and later has been significantly impacted by both Europe as well as the USA over the years of its development ???

  • I find that the lemmy users think that there's one big Atlantic Ocean in the centre and the world is organised on its either sides. Have you ever figured it out that the lemmy servers are spread in what can be technically called the NATO countries ??? Do you have any idea how many users lemmy can have in the BRICS countries ??? And that's just the tip of the global south !!!

  • Anything that the EU doesn't agree with is put within the container called "disinformation". Then there are stringent laws regarding "regulating" the social media.

  • I don't know where you live but are you aware about the recent black outs in south western Europe ?? Do you still believe that NWO is a conspiracy theory????

  • The name itself is illusionary. Check out the location of the hosting. It's hosted in Germany, but of course focussing primarily on the midwest !!

  • Thanks πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ for that link !!

This is hosted within the territory of my country. But what is the difference between the black dots and the green dots in the EU and the USA ?

  • Ok.... Thanks 😊😊

  • Okay πŸ‘πŸ˜Š...... I sent you a message from my Mastodon account 😊😊😊

  • You sent me a message ? But it's not showing up as a message.

  • Practically anybody is free to use GitHub. However, if l'm the developer, l need to comply with the laws of the country l live in/work from. The same regulations apply for the servers as well.

That's what I mean !! If I work from lndia and the server is located in lndia, then neither are bound by EU regulations pertaining to the internet/social media. At the best, the server would be barred from the EU.
